Designed in conjunction with Ian Jelbart, architect and developer.
Lot 9 is one of eleven subdivided sites forming part of a long standing, large farmhouse and mudbrick barn. Ten of the newly subdivided sites having an average area of 600sqm, were designed to handle a steeply sloping ... and a consistent vernacular was devised for economic and aesthetic reasons.
Lot 9, having an area of 400sqm (20 x 20) was designed to optimise the integration of internal and external spaces, as a consequence the house contains 2 major floors, living and studio on the ground floor with sleeping and a study on the first floor. A roof deck and small annexe sits partly in the roof space.
